Woodward Quick release units feature a square-contact spine with a 2" engaged length. This low-profile form provides highly positive transmission of torque without the spreading effect of the common involute spline and is the key to the hub's lightweight and compact design. We carry 2 bolt patterns to steering wheel - common 6 bolt (Sparco, Momo etc..) and 3 bolt (Grant etc..). And Alloy or Steel pull rings.

Woodwards SCA700 is a housed upper steering column used in Sprint Cup, V8 Supercars and V8 Supertourers amoung many other racing series around the world. A steel torque tube rotates inside a lightweight aluminum jacket, with a heavy duty ball bearing and a splined shaft which can telescope inside the torque tube for a full 9" (220mm), adding a large margin of safety for the driver during collapse of the forward crush zone in a high-speed crash.
